About

I’m a designer specialized in knitwear, material innovation and sensory storytelling.

I enjoy creating compelling material worlds and smooth systems in the framework of a brand. I brought unseen Flyknit expression to Nike, systemic taste and structure for Marimekko, and print and shape innovation for Henrik Vibskov.

I create things that make your mouth go wet and cold chills run down your spine.

Experience

During my 10-year career, I’ve taken these skills to global sportswear innovation and Nordic contemporary fashion brands - Nike Inc., Henrik Vibskov, and Marimekko. My work has been presented at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, at the Helsinki Design Museum, and in Schön! Magazine.

I have several years of experience in teaching fashion design and knitted materials in Finnish higher education institutions, such as Aalto University in Espoo, and LAB University in Lahti.

Education

I hold a Master’s degree in Arts from Aalto University, School of Design and Architecture, where my major was Fashion, Clothing and Collection Design.

Additionally, I studied a minor subject entity in Fashion Management at the Aalto School of Business.
